Kia ora parents,


We will use CLASS DOJO this year as a way to reinforce positive behaviours in class. The behaviours we want to promote especially in Term 1 are:
- Being organised: getting materials out, beginning work straightaway and looking after your things.
- Using mat manners: one person talking at a time on the mat, listening to the teacher and to others.
- Using a quiet working voice: When we come into the classroom, our voices are quiet so we can make sure our classroom is a nice place to learn.

We will talk about these behaviours in class and it would be great if you could discuss them at home too (noticing when your child is displaying these good behaviours and praising them for it). When your child is 'caught' showing one of these great behaviours in class, they may get a 'dojo point'. Then you can log into Class Dojo and have a look at all the great things they have been doing each day.

You will need to follow these steps:
1. Get the free ClassDojo app
2. Sign up as a “Parent”
3. Enter the parent code (on your email)
4. That's it :)
